We just got back from Zihuatanejo and had a fabulous time. There were 6 of us and had 3 floors in one of the villas. Ruben, the owner, always went above and beyond to accomodate our needs and to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Even picked us up at the airport! The rooms are clean, very nice ambiance. A/C and ceiling fans kept us very comfortable. The salt water pool is clean, refreshing, and private. Its the perfect lush oasis!! If you go make sure to ask Ruben his favorite spots/restaurants. They were always excellent recommendations!

año tras año sigue siendo nuestro destino favorido: tanto las villas, alberca, jardines tropicales, como la atención personalizada y el lugar (Playa La Ropa es lo mejor de Zihua!) todo lo hace un paraiso del max relax. Gracias a Ruben y su staff Marcelino y Luis, por el cuidado impecable 5 estrellas. Esperamos hasta el proximo año...

Nos hemos alojado en Villas Del Palmar muchas veces y conozco a Rubén desde hace muchos años (de hecho lo consideramos "nuestro miembro de la familia en México"). Este es por lejos el MEJOR lugar para alojarse en Zihuatanejo. La propiedad es preciosa, la ubicación perfecta, las habitaciones están bien equipadas y son espaciosas y la comida en el Pizza Jungle es muy buena. Si estábamos planeando un viaje a Zihua y no había una habitación disponible en Villas Del Palmar, ¡cambiábamos nuestras fechas de viaje! ¡¡¡Este pequeño pedazo de paraíso está clasificado número uno por alguna razón!!

Es un hotel increible, tranquilo, en medio de la naturaleza, los cuartos son limpios, amplios y cómodos, la arquitectura es muy bonita, cuartos muy agradables, perfecta locación, excelente servicio, todo perfecto

8 of us, 2 little kids and 6 adults enjoyed our 2012 Christmas vacation in one of the villas and we had a wonderful time. Parts of the pool were always in the shade, helping to protect our white Alaskan skin. Ruben picked us up at the airport and made us feel like family. The Villa was clean with lots of fresh linnen and towels. We always had lots of drinking water, provided by a couple of 5 gallon bottles. The area was quite at nite and we always felt safe. The walk to the beach was fun and the path was mostly in the shade. Trips to town were dove via Cab but the public bus runs in front of the place. There is a local store, about a 10 minure walk, where fresh fruit is available. Coffee in the morning pool side was the perfect way to start the day while relaxing in evening was the best way to end it. We will return.

This is the 3rd time we stay in Villas del Palmar with Reuben and just can´t say how much we recommend him, this time he took us to this beautiful beach called Barra de Potosí and we went kayaking, and also had the best seafood!!! Overall, we highly recommend the Villas, they are very well located and the attention by the owner is superb. Don´t miss visiting Zihuatanejo and if you do so don´t miss the opportunity of staying in a wonderful place at a very reasonable price. Thank you.

This was my 4th time staying at this resort, and it keeps getting better each time. The staff that does activities are so much fun, and added to pool time in a big way. Loved the water arobics at noon. Who would not want to take that class from Rafael...or as I like to call him...the younger Mario Lopez. Oliver, Eligio, Antonio, and the beautiful Karen are great too! Alberto is our favorite waiter at the restaurant.
Hop on the bus for 7 pesos and you are in town in minutes, a great location.

I have said many times on my travels that great people are responsible for great times! Reuben, is the man when its comes to great times in Ixtapa! He's made our trip the best it could ever be. His rustic, cool and cozy Hotel welcomes you with a huge pool and fresh flowers which brings paradise to your doorstep. Once settled, he took us to the explore the secrets of the city including trying some of the best dishes both exquisite and traditional. Reuben exudes the kind of personality that lights up any environment and makes travel enjoyable. My family and I recommend Villas del Palmar to anyone thinking about having a memorable experience in Ixtapa. I am already planning my next trip. Viva la México!

Stayed for 2 weeks. Starting from the Pick up at the airport, leading us to the most comfortable and clean Villa. The location to everything is close and just a short relaxing walk to the nicest beach in Zihuatanejo. Never had a bad meal at any restaurant and Ruben is the most hospitable host. Thank you Ruben for a fabulous 2 weeks.

Visitamos el lugar con frecuencia, de verdad es como estar en casa, no hay limite de hora para poder disfrutar de la alberca, la relación entre precio y servicio es lo justo. Gracias al Sr. Ruben por sus atenciones.
